Let us take you on a journey to the countryside of Tecate. This all-inclusive private tour provides a city tour and outdoor adventure that is great for kids and the whole family. We'll drive for one hour among the mountains of Campo (in the US side) en route to Tecate.
Once in Tecate, Experience the city that gave birth to the world famous Tecate Mexican Beer. Take a scroll around the city’s main plaza while enjoying the delicious artisan ice cream and fruit “paletas”. Then visit the famous Mexican bakery where the best pastries of Tecate are made, “El Mejor Pan de Tecate”. Afterwards, time for beer at the original Tecate Brewery. Then head to “Rancho Tecate” for a hike around the ranch and a delicious lunch on the grill composed of BajaMed cuisine recipes. Before leaving the ranch, enjoy tastings of local wine, mezcal and tequila.
Lunch can be served outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. Lunch includes juicy cuts of steak and pork on the grill, plenty of organic vegetables and tantalizing desserts (vegetarian and vegan menu also available). After the outdoor activities and lunch, local craft beer and tequila tastings will follow. We will sip regional craft beer, wine and a variety of Mezcal and tequila offerings. The whole experience can be done in a day, but if you want to take it slow, ask about our Rancho Tecate overnight stay package.
This is an all-inclusive, all day private tour that begins from San Diego. Minimum of six guests for the tour to run. Adults and kids are welcome.
Pick up from San Diego (location to be determined by customer, groups over 8 may have to walk across the border).
Cross the border into Mexico via Tecate/Campo east of San Diego.
Visit the town of Tecate (central plaza, downtown, and Cerveceria Tecate for beer)
Visit to “El Mejor Pan de Tecate” for tour and enjoy Mexican pastries.
Start outdoor adventures at “Rancho Tecate”. Take a hike around the ranch to work up an appetite!
Lunch on the grill with organic vegetables and delicious cuts of beef or pork and ceviche at Rancho Tecate.
Time to do some tastings of mezcal and tequila from Jalisco and wine from the region.
Head back home.
Drop off at your location in San Diego.

Notes: Due to new transportation regulations by the Mexican government, U.S. tour companies may not be able to cross the border with certain U.S. transports, therefore in some cases you will have to meet your guide at the border and cross on foot with your guide and board the transport once in Tijuana. Groups with 4-7 guests will still be picked up in San Diego and be driven across the border. (Last revision 8/7/21).
