Best service and best day trip to Ensenada!
Although I have to admit, I wasn't expecting to see much in Ensenada, but this was one of the best tours that I have experienced in my life! Mario, our guide, made us feel safe and he took care of all the details for us so our trip to Ensenada was nothing but perfection.
Mario picked us up from our hotel in San Diego just at the time he said he would. In fact, he showed up 15 minutes earlier. Crossing the border into Tijuana was a breeze and hazel-free. Same thing coming back into USA. We asked Mario to take a non-schedule stop at the liquor store to get some provisions and then we were on our way south driving along the Pacific Ocean. Magnificent views!!. We stopped at El Mirador for pictures and Mexican candy. Twenty minutes later we arrive at Ensenada bay. Mario took us to Calle Primera and Hussong's Cantina and had time to walk along the boardwalk. Then we went on to La Bufadora (natural water blow hole). It was an exiting geyser-like phenomena that I had never seen! Fish tacos and shrimp cocktails for lunch really hit the spot. Also plenty of tequila margaritas and live music. On the way back before heading to San Diego we stopped at Cuatro Cuatros for tapas and delicious wine from Valle de Guadalupe. The sunset from up there was the highlight of the trip. Amazing!! Throughout the tour Mario was very friendly, professional and informative. He also made sure we had all we needed and more. We are definitely booking another tour with Mario very soon.
I highly recommend Baja California Wine Tours for any adventure in Baja.
Thanks Mario!!

My Baja California wine tours with Mario
My family and I took a tour to Valle de Guadalupe with Mario from Baja California Wine Tours. I have taken other tours before with other companies from San Diego but Baja California Wine Tours by far is the best and surpassed all our expectations. Mario makes sure all the guests are taken care of and pays attention to all details. We were a group of twelve people and everyone felt safe and had lots of fun and delicious wine. Mario took us to three boutique wineries, Torres Alegre, Viña de Franes, and Tres Mujeres. Their blends of red wine are something you cannot find anywhere else in the world! My favorite part was lunch at Finca Altozano. What a delicious way to make octopus!! The vehicle was also confortable and new and Mario kept the group entertained. I highly recommend Mario and Baja California Wine Tours over any other company from San Diego.

Mario is Amazing! An Experience you'll never forget
What an amazing experience! Mario picked us up in a very nice and comfortable van. Crossing the border was easy. He went above and beyond to not only tell us, but show us all of the main areas of the tour in depth. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable. The food at lunch was delicious and each winery was beautiful. It is 100% worth the visit. Valle de Guadalupe boasts a gorgeous scenery and Mario knows exactly where to take his guests. We also saw how wine is made. Mario sent over 50 pictures to us after the tour of the group! Highly recommended!

Perfect Corporate Event in Valle de Guadalupe
Perfect Corporate Event
I was in charge of putting together the company's yearly outing to Valle de Guadalupe. I got several quotes from different companies and no one offered me a better rate than Mario and Baja California Wine Tours. In addition to the great service we got throughout the day, Mario took us to the best places in the valley. We visited Cuatro Cuatros, Vinas de Franes and Mario took us to Deckman's for lunch. The whole day was amazing and all the arrangements made for our trip were taken care off. All we had to do was to enjoy ourselves! The bus for our transportation was brand new with TV, bar and restroom. We were also greeted with champagne when we boarded the bus. The food at Deckman's was the most incredible meal ever and the sunset at Cuatro Cuatros was the best way to end the tour. I highly recommend Mario and Baja California Wine Tours for any company gatherings or large private events. Thanks Mario for all your energy and for taking care of such a large group in the best way possible! Muchas gracias senor! Arriba, arriba! Andale, andale!!

The Highlight of Our Mexico trip
Mario called me the day before the tour and told us when he'd pick my wife and me up from our hotel in Rosarito, and sure enough, he showed up right on time. The van ride was comfortable and he helpfully pointed out a lot of fascinating facts along the gorgeous Baja coastline. It was so great to just sit back and relax, as I'd be afraid to navigate some of the unpaved roads on my own. Getting to know the other people on the tour with us was part of the entertainment too. The wine was surprisingly good, but the highlight of the tour for me was the 5 course "BajaMed" lunch at Finca Altozano, a fusion of mexican and mediterranean cuisine, and so many happy dogs everywhere! There was plenty of time to relax and soak in the sun and scenery before we were dropped off back at our hotel in the evening. To top it off, Mario took a TON of photos throughout the day and emailed them to us, so it was like having a professional photographer with us the whole time. It is definitely on our bucket list to come back and try his cheese tasting tour next!

Overnight Stay in Valle de Guadalupe
My friends and I decided to take a two day and one night overnight stay in Valle de Guadalupe because Baja California Wine Tours offered it at the right price and with all the percs and extras you can imagine! We stayed at a five star boutique hotel right in the heart of the valley. The accommodations were very good, comfortable and clean. On day one we visited three fantastic wineries that had really good red wines and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Mario, our driver, took us to Finca Altozano for lunch. The meal was delicious and plenty of food for all six of us. Definitely the highlight of day one.
On day two Mario took us cheese tasting to Rancho Cava de Marcelo where we tasted about a dozen different aged types of cheese. Had a delicious outdoor meal on the grill composed of meat, fish and organic vegetables. They also make their own gellato and the best sangria ever! After the cheese tasting we visited Cuatro Cuatros winery. The best sunset I have ever experience from top of the mountain overlooking the ocean.
I totally recommend Mario and Baja California Wine Tours. Not expensive at all, considering the great service you will be getting. Mario goes out of his way to make sure you get the right attention.
Thanks Mario!
