Wine Tasting Private Tour
This tour has it all!! Great for kids and the whole family! Let us take you on a great adventure to the country side of Tecate.
We'll drive for 1 hour among the mountains of Baja, east of Valle de Guadalupe and take you to an amazing private ranch "Rancho Tecate". Once there, a number of different outdoor adventures await you! Try zip lining across the lake, do some hiking and mountain biking, swim or row in a canoe. Full SPA service also available if you just want to disconnect yourself from the world. Get a massage, a facial or hot stone treatment while drinking wine and eating cheese. Lunch is served outdoors so you can enjoy an equestrian show by the Andalusian and Arabian horses. Lunch includes juice cuts of steak and pork on the grill, lots of organic vegetables and amazing desserts. After the outdoor activities and lunch, we will let you try the best craft beer in the region and do some tequila and mezcal tastings. The whole experience can be done in a day but if you want to take it slow, ask about our “Rancho Tecate” overnight stay package.

Pick up from San Diego (location to be determined by customer).

Cross the border into Mexico via Tecate/Campo east of San Diego.
10:30 am
Visit the town of Tecate (main plaza, downtown and cerveceria Tecate).
11:30 am
Arrival at "Rancho Tecate" for a full tour of the facilities.
12:30 pm
Start outdoor adventures. Your chance to try zip lining, horseback riding, canoe rowing, biking, hiking or whatever makes you tick!!
2:30 pm

You will be picked up at your location of preference and driven south across the border without having to get out of the transport. Once in Mexico, you will enjoy an easy one hour drive along the Pacific Scenic route towards Ensenada. During whale season you can actually spot a few whales along the way! Sufficient restroom stops if necessary. Once in Ensenada, we’ll go east for ten more minutes into wine country! By 11am you will be enjoying delicious reserve wine from Valle de Guadalupe!
You will visit three boutique wineries with wine tastings included, get a tour of the winemaking process and enjoy a delicious BajaMed, five course, lunch at Finca Altozano by famous chef Javier Plascencia.
This is a private tour aboard a luxury 6-14 passenger van with air conditioning and reclining seats. Only the people from your party will come along in your transport. No strangers! Plenty of legroom and free bottles of drinking water will be provided to each passenger! You are also welcome to bring your own drinks too (no large ice boxes).

An amazing experience
Mario was very friendly, and was an amazing tour guide . He was very patient, and answered our questions with enthusiasm. The tour itself was a very special experience for me and my family. We got to taste Mexican culture and history, and it was a memorable experience.

Family friendly fun adventure!!!
I absolutely LOVED it. Our tour guide was very kid -friendly,and he explained so well!!! We had the BEST tacos I have ever tasted! I recommend Mr. Mario for a family friendly adventure.

What an unforgettable winery tour to Valle de Guadalupe!
Despite heavy border traffic from San Diego that day, our amazing guide Mario and our skilled driver Pedro kept everything on track and got us everywhere we wanted to go without any stress.
Mario is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its history, and he kept the whole day fun, relaxed, and engaging. Lunch was fantastic, and each winery we visited had its own unique charm, along with incredibly kind and welcoming staff at every stop.
It was a truly special day, and I’m already planning another trip back. Highly recommend this experience, especially with Pedro behind the wheel and Mario leading the way!

Best intro to Valle!
This was the perfect intro into Valle de Guadalupe! Mario picks you up in San Diego, explains the process for crossing the border and gets you into Valle to enjoy great wines! Then he explained the process for getting back into San Diego and it was such a great trip!

Wine tour
Mario was excellent and planned a perfect day for us. We went to 3 wineries and an amazing lunch. The wineries were beautiful and one even had tequila tasting for my husband.

Best worry free wine tour

Bachelorette weekend trip
This was my second time. The wineries and restaurants were amazing. We loved Finca and Oja. Each tasting had delicious wines. The views were beautiful and we took a lot of photos. Mario is very knowledgeable of each place he took us. We appreciated how seamless our transitions between each spot were. I recommend this tour to anyone. Valle is beautiful and traveling with Mario makes it easy!

Perfect Girls Day Trip!
It was a perfect girls day trip. Mario was a wonderful tour guide. Everything was smooth from the emailed itinerary to dropping us off at the end of the tour. There were 6 of us in our group, and 2 other groups of 2 in our tour. Mario was very personable and made sure we all had a great time. Our 1st stop was a beautiful winery, where we also go to meet the owner/winemaker. That was an awesome surprise. Tasting was great, and we even bought a bottle to share so you definitely get enough time to enjoy yourself at each spot. At the 2nd winery Mario was able to get us on the tour which was another great surprise, the tour guide at the winery was very informative. The lunch spot was 10/10 very hip spot, beautiful outdoor restaurant with craft cocktails, and beautifully presented food. At the last stop another great experience where we got to tour the winery as well as do the tasting. It was a great experience and we are already planning our next trip. Mario was great, we cannot say enough good thing about him and this tour. Highly recommend going!
