This tour has it all!! Great for kids and the whole family! Let us take you on a great adventure to the country side of Tecate.
We'll drive for 1 hour among the mountains of Baja, east of Valle de Guadalupe and take you to an amazing private ranch "Rancho Tecate". Once there, a number of different outdoor adventures await you! Try zip lining across the lake, do some hiking and mountain biking, swim or row in a canoe. Full SPA service also available if you just want to disconnect yourself from the world. Get a massage, a facial or hot stone treatment while drinking wine and eating cheese. Lunch is served outdoors so you can enjoy an equestrian show by the Andalusian and Arabian horses. Lunch includes juice cuts of steak and pork on the grill, lots of organic vegetables and amazing desserts. After the outdoor activities and lunch, we will let you try the best craft beer in the region and do some tequila and mezcal tastings. The whole experience can be done in a day but if you want to take it slow, ask about our “Rancho Tecate” overnight stay package.

Pick up from San Diego (location to be determined by customer).

Cross the border into Mexico via Tecate/Campo east of San Diego.
10:30 am
Visit the town of Tecate (main plaza, downtown and cerveceria Tecate).
11:30 am
Arrival at "Rancho Tecate" for a full tour of the facilities.
12:30 pm
Start outdoor adventures. Your chance to try zip lining, horseback riding, canoe rowing, biking, hiking or whatever makes you tick!!
2:30 pm

You will be picked up at your location of preference and driven south across the border without having to get out of the transport. Once in Mexico, you will enjoy an easy one hour drive along the Pacific Scenic route towards Ensenada. During whale season you can actually spot a few whales along the way! Sufficient restroom stops if necessary. Once in Ensenada, we’ll go east for ten more minutes into wine country! By 11am you will be enjoying delicious reserve wine from Valle de Guadalupe!
You will visit three boutique wineries with wine tastings included, get a tour of the winemaking process and enjoy a delicious BajaMed, five course, lunch at Finca Altozano by famous chef Javier Plascencia.
This is a private tour aboard a luxury 6-14 passenger van with air conditioning and reclining seats. Only the people from your party will come along in your transport. No strangers! Plenty of legroom and free bottles of drinking water will be provided to each passenger! You are also welcome to bring your own drinks too (no large ice boxes).

Girls trip was so much fun. Book with Mario you will safe and will not regret it!
MMario was on time to pick us up at the Airbnb and we headed to Valle de Guadalupe. The views were amazing. We visited 4 wineries
And it included a small cheese board and a great lunch at 2pm everything was delicious. We crossed the border in 20 min or so (super fast) and that was a big plus.Mario went beyond with accommodate us and make us feel comfortable along with taking great pictures. Don’t hesitate to book your next girls trip with them. Super safe. Clean bus. We were able to control the music to our choice and had an incredible memorable time. Already thinking of booking again with him. Thank you Mario.

Great taste of Tijuana
Our two families from Australia visiting San Diego did a private day tour with Mario to get a taste of Mexico in Tijuana. Pickup and drop-off from our hotel in San Diego made it so easy. The format of the tour was perfect to get some Mexican history and see the highlights of Tijuana as well as the best tacos we had on our trip (we tried plenty in the US) for lunch.
Mario is a passionate local and provided great insight into his home country and answered all our questions enthusiastically about his interesting country. The only lowlight was the hour or so waiting in traffic to get back through the border into the US (but that is unavoidable) and Mario finds the quickest way possible. Highly recommend this tour.

Fabulously fun
Mario was incredible!
Every detail of our tour was perfectly executed. We were a group of 6 and loved every minute from the margaritas, to the lobster and fabulous shopping. Worth a second trip!

Super fun and hassle-free way to tour Valle de Guadalupe
What a fun and fabulous day we had at Valle de Guadalupe with our guide Mario! It was a family group of 6 of us celebrating my mom's birthday. Mario made it super special for all of us, especially my mom. We didn't have to worry about a thing. He was super knowledgeable, and we felt completely safe and well cared for. All of the wineries on the tour were beautiful and the food was delicious. It was so nice not to have to wait in a long line at the border, we sailed right on through. Amazing! And Mario took great photos and video of us throughout the tour, and sent a link to view them the next day. I highly recommend Baja California Wine Tours!

Amazing Wine Tasting Tour

Excellent Tour
Myself and 7 friends went on the wine tasting tour with Mario yesterday and I was blown away with the trip! Mario was very knowledgeable about the region and gave great recommendations. We went to 3 great wineries, all with stunning views and had an amazing Baja med lunch. Mario said he has relationships with over 50 wineries in the area so no tour will be the same. I highly recommended this tour and will definitely be doing it again one day.

The best overnight trip ever!!
My boyfriend and I booked and overnight stay to Guadalupe Valley with Baja California Wine Tours and we couldn’t of had a better guide like Mario. From the begging, Mario was always reachable to answer any of our questions. Mario put together an amazing two day itinerary which included amazing artisan wineries and gourmet restaurants like Oja and Encantó. The food was incredible and the wine delicious. We are so glad we found this great company for our adventure in Baja. We highly recommend Mario and Baja California Wine Tours.
